Meet Your Instructor

Lynise is the owner of Uplift wellness created in June 2022. Lynise is a registered nurse with 4 years of health experience working with adult population. Lynise is also studying to be clinical mental health counselor at Walden University to help improve mental stability of those in her community. Her love of yoga began in high school due to difficulty with anxiety and sleeping. Struggling with mental health with little knoweldge on how to cope with anxiety lead to the discovery of yoga.Practicing yoga and meditation helped decrease her anxiety, increased self awareness, self-love and clarity. In January of 2020, began the journey to make yoga a lifestyle not just a practice. Lynise graduated from East-West Yoga 200 HR yoga instructor training. Since then Lynise specialize in chakra yoga to help open and balance 7 energy centers of the body. Lynise also provides vinyasa and hatha inspired daily yoga classes for beginners of all ages.
